Measure 45 minutes with one match

You have two ropes of rough non-countinuous composition (in other words these ropes are not ideally uniform.) You know that each will take exactly half an hour to burn no matter which end is lit. How can you with only one match (which only sustains a flame for a few seconds) measure a time interval of 45 minutes...

  1. Take one rope make it a circle and tie this rope at one end of other rope.
Burn the match and lit the free end of the rope.
When 1st rope completely burns then we can calculate 30 mins. and other rope is in circle it will burn from both the ends, so this rope will take 15 min.
    So, totally 30+15=45mins.
